Stagione 8

L'ultima stagione televisiva di Buffy vedeva la distruzione totale di Sunnydale e Buffy&Company andarsene... molti fan hanno inventato centinaia di fanfiction per far continuare le avventure della loro Cacciatrice preferita scrivendo più di una ipotetica stagione 8. Ora però esiste anche quella ufficiale: le avventure di Buffy continuano, non in tv ma a fumetti, e a scrivere il seguito è proprio il papà della Prescelta, il creatore della serie Joss Whedon aiutato dai disegni di Georges Jeanty e altri.

La Dark Horse Comics ha iniziato a pubblicare il nuovo ciclo di avventure di Buffy the Vampire Slayer il 14 marzo 2007, ovviamente negli Stati Uniti; in Italia invece la Free Books li lancerà nel 2009.
